Yann, it would be useful to have specific examples of books that did not meet your expectations. It’s possible you just have poor judgement when selecting which books to read? I know that I am trigger happy when it comes to buying books and often regret my choices after the fact. In any case, “books” are surely too diverse to dismiss (or advocate for) in such absolute terms.
