Thank you for this succinct articulation of why technology is not sufficient for personalisation. Too often, solution providers gravitate to technology with little thought on the educational goals they supposedly champion.

Do you think technology is a necessary condition for achieving the goals of personalised learning? Perhaps digital tools are taking hold because they are perceived to be the only means of overcoming system constraints to meet each child where they are. If that’s the case, it’s then a matter of how we design and implement these tools with fidelity.
